Dr. Laura Quenemoen

Dr. Quenemoen grew up in Massachusetts in the Merrimack Valley, in an animal loving family.  Her passion for animals, learning and problem solving led her to become a veterinarian. She has had mice, snakes, geckos, parakeets, dogs and cats throughout her life.  She love her job because of the relationships she forms working with patients and their families. Her professional interests are internal medicine, soft tissue surgery, dermatology, and ophthalmology.

Dr. Quenemoen graduated from UMASS Amherst with a BBA in Finance and UMASS Boston with a BS in Biology.  She spent 3 years working in the Boston area in ER and GP small and mixed practice as a veterinary technician prior to veterinary school. During school she completed a fellowship in Comparative/Lab Animal Medicine at MIT.  She earned her DVM from the University of Illinois in 2014 and spent the next 5 years practicing small animal medicine in Minnesota where she met and married her husband.

Dr. Quenemoen and her husband the proud parents of two children, Bea and Ari. They have a chihuahua names Paloma, two persian cats (Willa and Brimley), and a Domestic shorthair cat named Boo Rosey Rainbow (my daughter named her).  In her spare time, she enjoys being outside with her kids, travel, and experiencing new cultures – especially through food. In her free time, she loves to hike, cook and read.
