Dr. Baker was born on Cape Cod where his family has resided for multiple generations. He obtained his bachelor's degree from Findley College in Ohio and DVM from Ross University on St Kitts, West indies in 1990.

He worked with both companion and large animals until 2011 when he began to practice small companion animal medicine exclusively.

In his spare time Dr. Baker enjoys remodeling projects at home, professional pyrotechnics, and refurbishing antique trucks.
