Jessica Janowski
Veterinary Nurse/Client Services/Dog Trainer/Out-Patient Care Coordinator

Jessica joined MVH in 2002 as a receptionist but has also added the roles of veterinary nurse, MVH dog trainer and Patient Care Coordinator to her days! Prior to working here at the hospital she attended UMASS/Amherst where she was a Pre-Vet Major. Jessica has traveled around the country as a professional show horse groom and farm manager in addition to working in vet hospitals.

Jess loves interacting with clients and their pets and she also enjoys learning new skills.  Her special interest in the veterinary field is behavior.  Since 2004 Jess has taught Puppy Pre-School and Dog Obedience classes here at MVH.   She teaches people and their pets about puppy development and behavior modification using safe, dog-friendly methods of positive reinforcement.

Outside of work, Jessica's hobbies include spending time with her horse "Missy", training her own dogs, scrap booking, and reading.  Jessica is a professional level member of the APDT, a certified evaluator for The American Kennel Club's "Canine Good Citizen" program and volunteers her time with several local rescue groups.

Jessica shares her home with her husband Chris (pictured here), "Maggie" the Lab, "Etta James" the Blue Tick Hound mix, Snickers the elderly cat, and last but not least, the Guinea Pigs "Benjamin and Corduroy"!
